Tarkan is a fictional Hunnic warrior created by Turkish cartoonist Sezgin Burak. Some of the earlier Turkish cartoon depictions the heroized Huns were Atilla Geliyor and Atilla'nın Ölümü, created collectively by Şahap Ayhan and Ayhan Erer in late 1940s.
