Those Who Wish Me Dead is a novel by American author Michael Koryta. It was published in the United States in June 2014 by Little, Brown and Company. It was adapted as a film released in 2021 of the same name and starring Angelina Jolie. After Indiana teenager Jace Wilson witnesses a murder, his parents cannot put him into witness protection because the killers have connections in law enforcement. So they entrust Jace's safety to Ethan and Allison Serbin, a couple who run a wilderness survival program for troubled kids in Montana. The murderers, Jack and Patrick Blackwell, track Jace—now using the name Connor Reynolds—to the mountainous region. When Jace realizes they're closing in, Ethan and Jace take off into the wilderness.
